Koshi Dhingra has a doctorate in science education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and has years of experience teaching at the middle and high school levels, as well as teaching in teacher education programs. Most recently, she served as a director of the Science and Engineering Education Center at the University of Texas at Dallas.
Koshi has three kids (all currently in middle school) and a wonderfully supportive husband. She enjoys traveling and being part of a book club. She is passionate about communicating the breadth of STEM education to anyone willing to listen.
Koshi grew up in Malaysia and has lived in Singapore, New York and Dallas. She has close family ties in the Caribbean, India, UK, and Spain – these varied locations are the foundation for her belief that we can be inspired by our differences. She hopes that as her children grow, they, too, will appreciate all that they share with people from different cultures and walks of life, whether artists or scientists, engineers or poets.
